VVS offers a service that would otherwise be provided by local law enforcement and insurance agencies. The process is initiated by the consumer by filling out the application form then submitting it.

Upon receiving an application, VVS Examiners initiate an 8-step verification process:

 

  • Conduct vehicle queries on the provincial data base
  • Conduct an on-site examination of the vehicle or trailer
  • Compile documentation of the examination
  • Phone manufacturer and/or previous owner to verify vehicle details
  • Conduct interview with current owner
  • Install indestructible metal VIN plate
  • Hand stamp last 8-digits of VIN on the frame
  • Archive pictures of vehicle or trailer and VIN plate. Records are retained indefinitely for future investigations
